I have just read some of the reviews from other clients. I think they are rude, and pompous.
I have been coming to this practice for many, many years, and i find the staff very friendly, and they do NOT make you wait unnnecesarily. They do not have time to stand around and talk to each other, they are far too busy for that. Some of the doctors need to have more understanding and better bedside manner, but apart from that it is a very good medical centre. Maybe some patients need to be more tolerant and have a bit more patience. Come on the staff there are not just like checkout operators. They are there to help us. They have a lot of patience with impatient patients. Give them a break. Susanna
I agree that some of the medical receptionists can be rude and pompous, but I find that is true of all medical centres, not just this one. My GP at Allcare is just the best, but I have visited a certain male Indian G.P. who I don't think should even be practising. His attitude is pompous and disrespectful and he doesn't even listen to ones concerns. What is more, his English is atrocious and he can neither understand what one says (and makes very little effort to) nor communicate what he wants to say.
Visited the worst GP of my life at all care edwardstown last night. My usual GP who had been bulk billing me for a long term issue had changed practice. I was charged $65. I was told by the clerk at reception that this dr will never be back when I complained but was still charged full fee. I now have to make (and presumably pay for) a second appt with a different GP. Been going there for ten years with both my kids, not any more!!!!!
Yes this is ongoing and some of the reception staff who think they are doctors love being pompous and show no empathy. Remember these people are just glorified check out operators who for most of their 8 hour shift spend more time talking to fellow staff and leave clients/patients waiting, its like we are a nuisance to them.
