When the car wouldn't start, I thought 'here's a good chance to see if Allianz are any good' - I'd got their coverage with my car insurance but never used it. I was impressed.
It's true they took about 45 minutes to arrive - though to be fair they'd given the timeframe of an hour so it was less than they'd said. The mechanic was knowledgable and thorough, it was 'just' a flat battery but he checked other related bits to make sure it was only the battery. He had one with him, price was a bit higher than I'd get from a car parts store but I couldn't have gotten to one anyway - because my battery was flat! Whatsmore he took the old battery away and if this one dies within 3 years it's covered by their warranty.
Happy with their service, only thing I'd change is I'd hate to have been in a rush as 45 minutes is a bit long.
