This is certainly the worst courier company i have seen in my life. You can not expect delivery on time. They picked up my order from Masters in Perth even though they knew that they can not deliver it to me on time. They picked up last week and i am still (after 10 days) waiting for it to be delivered to me. If you are in business where timing is important, DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE GUYS. It is h*ll difficult to get the latest information of where about of goods as well.
Wouldn't it be the suppliers fault for letting you buy something that wasn't going to be delivered in the time frame you require. The freight company will only collect/take what they are given. What should the driver, that picks up go through each and every order and say, yes we can no we cant yes yes no no. And if the driver said no in this instance (yours) you would probably still be on here whining that the courier company refused to take your order because it wasn't going to be delivered on time. Were they any help or did they just take you money and then wipe their hands of you. Did you mention it to them that you needed it urgently. Did they check with Allied prior 2 u placing/paying for your order if delivery would suit your requirements? Just because the freight company is the last in the chain doesn't mean they are at fault. Maybe the supplier should properly inform buyers how the process works from pick/pack/dispatch/delivery
