Allied Pickfords Shipping Smithfield

Would not recommend. Felt like an amateurish operation, despite charging premium prices for the brand name. Arrived in unmarked white truck with 3 movers. One felt unwell so we’re quickly down to two men to move 3+ bedrooms. No back up apparently.

Poor communication: movers incorrectly told (not by us) there is a lift at the upload address. Truck takes over an hour to travel 1km from upload to delivery address, lost twice despite having the correct address recorded. Supervisor spent 45 mins on the phone to office complaining about parking distance from delivery address (had they arrived earlier they could have parked directly outside).

Finished at 7pm. A really long day for all concerned, but thanks to Blake who did a lot of heavy lifting. And no breakages. As they finished late there are still items outstanding, despite the promises, over a month later (the plants, Madison!)
