Unfortunately, this is the 2nd bad experience I have had with this lot. Arrange a time to arrive and then they come early - by an hour! I know, who would have thought someone would turn up early but you do tend to book a time to suit other arrangements. This time, I was quoted a price on the phone and then when the fellow turns up he wants $30 more - says the hall is too long.
They have been here before - perhaps they should take notes. Sadly, the RUDE and GRUFF manner of the man in the office has ensured that I do not use this crowd again. I sent the cleaner away which I am very sorry about because he was a young fellow trying to do a job and he is hamstrung by incompetence and belligerence. Well, looks like a whole year later they have not improved even slightly. Every time I vacuum I get angry at the rip off that happened. Had them booked for 9am and the guy arrived at 8am !! I have never booked anyone to come through and do any work in my home at that time as there are still people getting ready for work then, and needless to say I would not book bedroom carpets to be cleaned while people are still getting dressed !! Seems he had another job to do at 9 (guessing he double booked). Told me the suburb he was heading to and it was minimun 45 mins from my house and that would be in good trafic ..... so needless to say I got extremely poor cleaning done. Totally disgusted with the job. Had to ask him to go back to two of the rooms and try again (even wet I could see that he had done nothing). Never again. Ive veen caught out twice by this company. Pretty sure when they rang this time that they did not call themselves Alltstate Carpet Cleaners.
Was promised that all moveable furniture would be shifted in the quoted price. On arrival it cost $30 extra. I specifically asked for a stream clean. I caught the bloke just in time before he did a dry chemical clean. Was told that the message didnt get through from the office of my request. (They did however accomadate my request at the last minute). Found after they had left that they had tipped filthy water with carpet fibres in it just off the edge of my verandah on my landscaped rock area. Also left wet patches all over my lino floors where the cleaning machine had been standing. No attempt to clean it up.
