Altar Bistro is housed in a unique 19th Century Church, set in the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula countryside. Altar Cottages are located behind the Church in a quaint, peaceful setting.
Situated 50 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD, Altar Bistro & Cottages are located on High Street in the historic township of Willunga amongst the world renowned McLaren Vale Wine & Cellar Door region.
Altar Bistro offers you locally sourced ingredients with meals freshly made to order by chef/owner Shane Horsley. Shane?s history includes working with Michelin chef Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir Aux Quait Season?s in Oxfordshire as well throughout Britain, Alsace & Paris.
Altar Cottages are perfect for short stays or a romantic weekend. We are also centrally located to the stunning Port Willunga, Victor Harbor beaches and the historic township of Strathalbyn with it?s many Antique shops. Our Cottages are spacious and comfortable including a kitchenette and an ensuite.
