2 generations of my family have attended ANPS (mother, sister and I) and all three of us have just the fondest memories of our childhood.
ANPS cares for it's kids, still run by Brendan O'Brian who was principal 12 years ago when I attended, ANPS is full of long serving staff who fall in love with the place and kids and don't want to go anywhere else.
From prep to grade 6 all students are treated fairly and with respect regardless of background, interests or whatever. The school is incredibly multicultural (much like the area) and tolerance is a big lesson that is a imbeded into the kids from day one and is one I myself have taken with me all through life.
Every kid is cherished for their special little talents, not belittled for the areas that they struggle in and to this day, my prep teacher (Mrs.Duke) still has a laminated copy of a "School Rules" book I drew her on display in her class.
