Unbelievably rude staff. I purchased a fish tank from this store and kept the box and receipt for warranty purposes. I just took it to the store to ask for some help with a water leak. When I explained the issue, the guy repeated my sentence in a sarcastic manner to his colleague and laughed. When I told him it’s not nice to treat your customers like this, he raised his voice and said take your tank and never come back. I was embarrassed in front of other people who were looking at us so shocked, I didn’t say anything and left. I checked the True Local reviews and realised other people experienced similar cases as me. I truly feel sorry for anyoone who experienced or will experience this. Please trust genuine reviews and have a second thought if you are planning to purchase something from this store.
I like variety of live stock however staff advice is very unreliable. They tried to push me to buy +99 dollars canister pump for my tiny tank, saying my sponge filter won't cycle the tank. I'm cycling my tank without problem atm. Research before you do anything upon their advice.
Having several aquariums and now into reptile keeping also this place is a must visit! Huge range of products and staff seemed to have a very good knowledge of what they are selling. Nice clean cages and all animals seemed very well looked after. Best store in Victoria by far. Definitely check them out.
