An Obsession For Hair

I got my regrowth colored here, no cut or blow dry. It took 2 hours, very poor service but my biggest shock as when I went to pay. I was told that will be $89 .I verified that this was the correct price for a regrowth only colour, no foils, no taking the colour to the end, purely the roots no cut or blow dry and was told that this was correct as they had fitted me in at short notice. This was true, I called Saturday morning as my regular hairdressers were fully booked.I now see why they had availability . When I pointed out that two other Umina hairdressers charge $ 40 for regrowth I was told I was rude. When there is such a choice of excellent hairdressers in Umina why would anyone use this second rate, very expensive salon. At least the experience provided excellent material for a case history on appalling service and poor marketing practices for my undergraduate business students.

Got my hair cut coloured and blow dried at obsessions today. Atmosphere in the salon is upbeat and all the staff were lovely. Service was great, was exactly what I wanted and was a lot cheaper than my old salon. Really happy with the service and I'll be going back again.

I live in Sydney and had a wedding to go to at Ettalong Beach. The wedding was on a Saturday afternoon, so I made an effort to rush out of work and head up the coast aiming to get there by 3pm on the day prior (Friday). I was so busy that week I hadn't had a chance to take care of my usual fortnightly spray tan and manicure. Before checking into the hotel, I went for a quick drive through Umina looking for a beauty salon to see if I could try my luck at a late afternoon appointment. I stumbled across an obsession for hair. It was almost 4pm and I thought what are the chances of just getting a manicure this late of notice especially on a Friday afternoon. I have just had my hair done at obsession for hair and beauty Umina. So happy with the colour and cut. The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome from the minute I stepped in there. They did my hair exactly how I'd asked. The prices were really reasonable and I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer. Love it!!!!

will never go here again and hope others read this before going. turned up for my appointment (app)There was only one staff working at the time, told staff I was here for my 1pm app which then staff replied was running 30-40Min's late, if my app was just for a hair cut no worries but it was for a full hair colour change which takes an hour an a half, which mean I would of got out at 3pm. There was no "I'm sorry" or anything. After speaking to the "management" (who thought it was acceptable To yell over the phone at me and speak over the top of me every time i tried to explain) i got told they usually run 30mins late!!!!!I'm sorry but that isn't good enough. I had event that I need to go to which I had to leave my house at 3:30pm to drive two hours to get to and was very excited to turn up with a new hair colour so very disappointed.
