hola! this place is spantastic (thats spanish fantastic). Went here today with friends for lunch. reminds me of a holiday we spent in madrid, which is great because most melbournian tapas bars seem to be an excuse to offer small servings at extravagant prices. not anada. its the most spanish we've had this side of madrid. admittedly we were concerned about bringing our son but the manager was so accommodating. for lunch they had a $35 7 course special with a glass of wine. if you're hungrier they have 9 courses for $55 or 12 for $70 with dessert. the manager told us he'd bring us a selection & if we didn't like them he'd swap them for anything else. we were sold & we were very happy with the result. the wine list is vast. the ambience is fancy yet gritty. loved it & wanna go back! if you crave real tapas, come here!
This is a very small restaurant, so if you wish to dine here, make sure you book a table. The food is very tasty and well presented, and well worth the cost. There is an extensive wine menu, and if you are not sure what would suit your meal, ask one of the wait staff. They are very knowledgeable and more than happy to offer a suggestion.
