I made a booking at Anchors Aweigh for an upcoming dive trip. Unfortunately the dive trip was pushed back a week because of inclement weather (which was the day before the scheduled arrival). I contacted the establishment about rescheduling my booking and encountered a very rude receptionist who neither listened to my concerns or expressed a willingness to accomodate the situation. They also added that they do not care for any future business. The management, said I could get refunded the cost of the room minus 10% if it was resold (very unlikely at the last minute and even more unlikely when a storm was coming through the area). Management was also not willing to reschedule my booking for the following week, when the dive trip was rescheduled. As advise to we could not change your booking to the date you required as we were fully booked at that time.
Other people for the same week end either arrived as per normal, or transferred their booking or were fully refunded due to being resold.
We try to make it very clear as per our well displayed booking notes requiring 72 hrs prior for a refund, unfortunately you rang the night before your arrival !.
We are sorry the weather was not as you expected and hope you eventually had a good weekend diving.
