Really bad prfesional and customer realtions between customers and owner she has no buisness sense to treat people nicely wonder why u lose buisness its right there

Had a terrible experience here. Had travelled up from Hervey Bay which took longer than expected due to road works; however after 12 hours of driving I was a bit pooped so put 'caravan parks' in the sat nav and it came up with this one. I arrived after 8pm and everything was closed. As a young girl travelling herself, I didn't want to park at the side of the road so asked some campers in the park if they thought it would be fine to park up and see the management in the morning. This didn't seem to be an outrageous suggestion to them, so I did. At around 10pm there was a person banging on my door and shining a torch in my face. The management repeatedly asked me what I was doing there, getting more aggressive and telling me that I can't free camp. I tried to advise the management what the scenario was, that I wasn't trying to free camp and that the office was shut when I arrived with no after hours number. Sorry to inform the general public but this park is on the way down. The facilities are starting to slip. The shop has gone, also stay 6 get the 7th night free has gone

We were running late the other day so I rang to say we were still comming but wouldn't arrive till about 5.30 pm. the staff member said that's okay we close at 6. When we did arrive at 5.02 pm I was told they close at 5 on sundays and they were now closed, after some discussion and them calling me a liar about the previous conversation I was allowed to check in. Considering I was staying for a week and had paid a deposit I was not impressed, especially when there was a subtle dig about being a top tourist member



Furthermore we have stayed here many times in the past, but that accounts for nothing with this mob.

Just my whinge, its still probably the better caravan park in town, but the smiles are gone and wouldn't be surprised if they lose the 4star rating
