Andersens Carpets

The team was pleasant. I had issues with the installation of the carpet.
The installer broke a light and scuffed walls around skirting boards.
The grip strip was extremely sharp that a child's toe bled after stepping through a doorway. When I raised the issue I was told to tamp down the nails in the doorways with a hammer. I insisted they visit the site to assess the extent of the problem. They acknowledged that the nails should have been tamped down at doorways but advised that any further tampling down would invalidate the warranty and that no one walks along the edge anyway.

I just had them do my floors, They did turn up on the day but did not finish the job and would not finish it till i paid in full. 1 day job took 2 weeks and rude management and terrible service. You pay top $ and get poor service , Would never use them again.

I had a very similar experience to 224emp - terrible service, rude management and complete incompetence! Do yourself a favour - choose another organisation or buy online!!

Terrible customer service! Can't complain about the install job however after being told a date for the install no one showed up. Was told they would be on site the next day, no one showed up, mean while my partner stayed home from work both days. Was told the delay was due to "freight issues" however I was then told the carpet was there the whole time! Installer laughed it off and said it happens all the time... Now 1 year later a phone call out of the blue expecting me to pay the final bill when I was never left a final invoice, to top it all off they didn't even know if the job had been completed or not, lucky I had informed them it was otherwise they would never had known. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone! Sort out your job scheduling, sort out your invoicing, and run a professional business.

A big thank you to Chris the manager of the Aspley Anderson's carpet store and to Michael one of their carpet layers. We just had new carpet laid throughout our home and these two gentlemen are a rare breed in today's world because they understand the importance of good customer service. Chris, you very quickly and efficiently resolved any issues that came up and we couldn't be happier with your service and professionalism. Not many people take the time to listen or care but you possess both abilities. Michael your attention to detail and the devotion you showed in making sure our carpet was installed correctly was very impressive. It is very rare to see someone care so much about the work they do and as customers we are extremely happy with your work.
