The Danish Founders based their presentation around the original Danish cone maker, manufactures according to their family's traditional recipes, dating back more than three generations.
Their extensive menu now includes more than just a waffle cone with a scoop of ice cream. You can enjoy milkshakes, sundae baskets, hot waffles, low fat yoghurt, ice cream cakes, concoctions and more!
This is one of those places I reckon they were thinking of when they invented the word 'yum'. Waffle cones - yum. Ice cream - yum. Chocolate & cream topping - yum. Between our group the other day we tried 5 varieties of icecream and pronounced the cookies & cream the best - but all the others were yum too! It doesn't come all that cheaply, but some things are worth paying for. It does get really busy and isn't a big shopfront so especially in summer you'll just have to wait for this slice of yum - but it's worth it!
If the smell doesn't attract you, hopefully the sight of it does because the waffle cones here at Andersens of Denmark are Awesome! ..Especially dipped in their Chocolate! YUM!! Their Ice Creams are nice, but i found they melted quite easily, even on a cold night when my friend and I had them. Still tasty though!!
We had our wedding cake made by Anderson of Denmark in Adelaide. An Ice Cream Cake of course shipped all the way to Alice Springs where we had to pick it up from a local butcher! We have been married for almost 10 years now and it's one of the most awesome memories that I wouldn't change for anything. It looked fantastic, tasted great and beat any ordinary wedding cake no matter how well they're decorated!
