Anderson's Winery is a very small, family business, so when visiting the cellar door, it is fairly likely that one of the Andersons (Howard or Christobelle) will talk to you. Imported equipment from Epernay in France is used to authentically produce Methode Champenoise sparkling wines and still table wines on the premises. Three years on, yeast lees in their temperature-controlled winery building ensure depth and complexity. Howard Anderson has had 30 years experience producing premium wines, all made on his own premises from grapes grown on low-yielding vines, producing the intense flavour expressed in the wines. Another feature is the unique above-ground cellar. Anderson's have earned a reputation for making great Methode Champenoise wines, big rich reds, and for having a range of wines that are all consistently good.
