Andrew McAuliffe inspected our painting job and emailed a detailed, itemised quote .
We accepted this and he and his assistant commenced the 2-3 day job.
Soon after starting , he demanded another $700. When we referred back to his quote and would not pay more, he had a todler tantrum, packed up his equipment and left . He emailed that night that he would not be returning.

You forgot to mention that you did pay the required deposit as agreed. Also it was your wife that had the meltdown as I tried to explain the details of the stained surface. I quietly packed up realising we both couldn't come to agree. I feel your comments to be very unfair as I have painted over 5 houses in your street with no other complaints.
