Myotherapy treats myofascial pain, injury, and dysfunction through assessment, manual treatment, and management advice.
It is beneficial in the preventative, corrective and rehabilitative phases of therapy to restore and maintain the normal integrity of the soft tissue structures (muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia).

Myotherapy is indicated for pain or dysfunction caused by muscle or fascia (myofascial). Myofascial pain can vary in intensity, duration, and radiate to other areas. Some of the symptoms for myofascial pain include; deep and constant ache, muscle tightness, tenderness in localised areas of the muscle (trigger points), reduced muscle and joint mobility, numbness or tingling sensation, fatigue and weakness.

Myotherapy can be useful for a wide range of injuries and conditions including;
