Why call a Cafe Anesis? Because the owners are Greek, and the word means "relaxing". Fresh white walls are off-set by epoxy resin floors in greys, black, red and white, unusual silver tiles on the counter and a feature wall, in a check design, gleam in the sunlight. The huge red La Marzocca coffee machine is matched with tiles above the bench area, and a scarlet "drinks menu" that spans the same wall, opposite is a "specials board" in the same brilliant red. Black chairs and sofas are matched to cupboards and a drink's display cooler, creating a decor that is lively and modern. The front of the Cafe has folding doors opening on to a large Alfresco area, which overlooks a lovely park, inspiring the Cafe name "Anesis.
