Angel Hotel

I remember first walking into this pub and meeting one of the bubbliest bartenders that I had ever me. Okay, I was quite tired that night, but seeing her chatting with anybody and everybody and bouncing all over the place picked me up a lot. Unfortunately that was a couple of years ago, but I have been back here a couple of times. I have to say I do like this pub. It opens out onto Pit Street and the front bar is on the ground floor and the pokies and sports bar are down below. While it is a pretty small pub, at least from the outside, it does manage to pack quite a lot into the place It is one of those pubs that I try to visit at least once everytime I happen to pass through Sydney.

Nice for a quick beer after work, always cramped even when it is empty. The upstairs bars are quite interesting
