I wasn't impressed. I bought the voucher for a great price and even though I wanted to see how the first treatment went, I felt very forced into buying two more treatments at a higher price before I even left the first one. I felt very apprehensive about going ahead with forking out another $200 without knowing the results but they were quite forceful in their 'selling' technique.Of course I could have said no, but I am not the most confrontational person and I did want to make sure I had the full benefit of the treatment and lose even more weight! Hmmm.

Hi, I am very sorry to hear you felt pressured, we always strongly recommend for everyone to do at least 3 treatments as this is the minimum anyone can do to complete the job properly. If we did not recommend this we would not be doing our clients any justice. And as for you not loosing any weight, there could be a number of reasons for this but I am not sure who you are HedgeHodge :) so can not shed any light on this for you here, would have been happy to if we were only asked. Most likely cause is that your body needed more cleansing, our bodies retain fat to protect us from stored toxins. Worst experience EVER! Based on the disgusting customer service or complete lack of it - recently I was severely mis-treated as a customer by management. Their aggressive tone and overly sensitive defensive demeanour were embarrassing (I actually feel very sorry for them). I simply brought to their attention that the price I had been charged for a service listed in their printed brochure (even in the copy available in the shop on the day) was incorrect. This is the only place I have found in Brisbane that offers self administered colonic irrigation. I have tried the other type of colonic where a therapist sits with you the entire time and I will never do that again. You do the whole process in a room by yourself so there is no embarrassment. I have been getting colonics here after doing a liver and gallbladder flushes and so far I've had great results. I will definitely go there again.
I've had many colonics in the past but Angel of Detox is by far the most comfortable and professional place I've been too. I started liver flushing a little while ago and was skipping the recommended colonics out of laziness. Which was a mistake I soon released as the toxins overflowed giving me terrible skin and allergies. Now after each flush I visit Angel of Detox and always feel like a million dollars when I leave. The privacy, the management, the entertaining dvd's, there isn't a better place in Brisbane. Trust me I've searched.
