Angle Vale Tavern

I would have to say that my first impression of this place was that it was an ugly little building. Okay, Angle Vale is transforming from a quiet country town into a new residential development, and this little pub pretty much defines that character. It is a fairly new pub (or at least the old one must have been replaced) and it is certainly not one that I would make a journey to all that too often for a visit. First of all their kitchen is only open for lunch and dinner, meaning that if you arrive too late (or too early) you will have to find some other place to go and get a meal. The other thing is that it is basically a suburban pub that caters to the locals. At least they have live music.
