Angler's Rest Hotel

Good location and the beer was cold, but, the food was pretty bad. The beetroot salad main used tinned beetroot and no noticeable dressing. The worst pub salad ever. The fish and chips were standard fare, a bit greasy, but did not come with any salad. Table service was good, however we were told we could get a $6,000 fine when we went to sit at the 'wrong' table to wait for our lunch.

Went fishing with a mate over the weekend, stayed here for the night, had a great time. Really nice friendly pub, clean comfortable, simple rooms, good grub at the bistro. Staff are very friendly too. We're planning on making it our base camp next fishing trip. Great place for an overnight getaway that's close to Sydney and the Central Coast.

Well this was a momentous disappointment for myself and my friends. We made the short journey from Woy Woy to celebrate a friends birthday. The beer garden/terrace was lovely to sit in, the sun was shining and the menu looked oh so tempting.

Ate at the bistro and I can honestly say it was the worst meal I've had in a long long time. We all had fish and chips, the chips were soggy and soaked in oil and the fish was so so greasy.

Very pleasant place to stop for a drink and a meal. Nothing fancy but it has a great relaxed vibe. Meals are always good and its just lovely sitting on the deck on a sunny day
