Angliss Children's Centre

Term 1 has been a total waste of time. There's different staff everytime I pick my child up, some staff don't know how to communicate. I was greeted by a staff member who seemed to know who's parent I was as she commented on my son's name and then when I saw a note to see staff, I asked her why I had to see staff and she replied "I don't work in this room". Not an answer I'd expect from a 2IC

Disgusted with this centres incompetence.

The staff change over quicker then you have the time to learn their names, the policies are outdated (read out of a manual because common sence is not a pre-requisite) and the stress and anguish your child will experience in definitely not worth the premium fees.

I have been part of the Angliss for a long time and I am sadden to know how much the Angliss has changed sins the new management took over. The staff are put under constant preassure and having to deal with the negativity from the management as well as constanrly Being spied on and being told off nothing is good enuf for them. The staff is doing their best. The place that once used to be is no longer what once was the most amazing team has been torn apart by the new management and will never be the same.

Angliss is a great centre with fantastic facilities for the kids. The staff are amazing and dedicated and the centre has a real community feel. My boys love their days at child care.

It is a great shame that the phenomenal care my son were given just a few years ago, were not able to be passed to my niece. When my son had attended the facility, the teachers were lively and had resources at their fingertips. The joy my son showed daily was one of the reasons I was an advocate for Angliss. It seems to my dismay that these aspects that brought on my fondness were fleeting. I was since saddened to discover that the Angliss Children centre is under new management and run by a collective that have greatly changed the aura and nature of the facility. The staff appear stressed, the childrens artwork is few and what once made Angliss a little hidden gem is just a faded ghost of what it used to be. I know the staff is trying their best but the aura has drastically changed so much that it may be an impossible lost cause. I'll always carry the old Angliss in my heart, my son's beloved sanctuary.
