If you are looking for a wedding dress for your special day I would suggest you go elsewhere as the customer service is not the best, spoilt a very special day which is meant to be memorable for years to come, these ladies need to show at least a little compassion, we were rushed in and rushed out even quicker, how can you make a life lasting memory in an hour or even less.
We were frowned upon for requesting to try on an expensive gown and advised against it, little did they know we would of purchased that expensive gown if it had of been my daughters choice.
We did however purchase a gown that day at a more reasonable price point but not without hesitation and tears from my daughter. They don’t seem to understand what they put these girls and parents through and how it spoils the whole experience.
I would think twice.
Terrible service. Rude and offensive comments and assumptions were made about my size and my budget.
Should have read the reviews before I booked my appointment, but not surprised to see so many poor comments. Astounded with the replies on the reviews such as ‘that is not how we treat our customers’ - easily a lie and a generic cop-out comment as they clearly have an underlying problem and have not done anything to address it.
Do yourself a favour and give this studio a miss so your experience shopping for a gown for your big day isn’t ruined.
What can I say it was a last minute purchase and the lovely ladies who not only served me but helped me make sure I made the correct decision ???? Not only didn’t they help with my selection, they even fitted the dress perfectly to me that same week at a time that suited me?? Can’t thank the team at Annabel’s for the dedication they put into putting clients first. I will definitely be back again soon for my next function ??????
I too agree with the bad reviews regarding Annabels, and also wish that I could give it 0.
After buying a dress for my year 12 formal, we found that sequens in the centre of the stomach had turned white due to steaming prior to pick up. After calling Misty to ask about the sequens she told us that we should 'hack some sequens off the hem and stitch them on with clear thread on top'. And she informed us that we couldnt return the dress as we had bought it on sale. Under consumer law in Australia an item only cannot be returned if it is clearly stated, or written on the reciept. My mother went to the store to discuss a refund and was yelled at in the store for being 'rude' and 'disrespectful' for requesting a refund, Misty and another woman continued to scream at her. Had an email extreet negative experience we had on Saturday last week. The bride to be had organised for my size of the bridesmaid dress she is after to be ordered for me to try on. When we arrived the dress hadn't been ordered and the largest size available to try on was in a completely different dress.
We were made to feel out of place, the store was very overbooked with far too many people trying to move around each other. The girl who was 'helping' us was condescending and rude. She wasn't at all accomodating. She made a point of my size and sighed as she said 'she has hopes she can find a dress big enough to fit'. When the smaller size dress didn't nearly do up she asked me to walk out into the store with my entire back open, and when I asked if the bride could just come into the change room to view she told me it was too crowded and I needed to go out into the shop.
