We have ordered catering for 70 people for a Pooja function, breakfast for 70 people to be delivered at 9:00 am. The delivery came at 11:30 am.
70% of my friends went home without food because of the delay. It was a festive day (Pongal) and it is early morning Pooja. All the kids and friends came at 6:00AM to my home with fasting. So imagine how hungry they would have been. Some elderly people have to take medication after breakfast they were desperate, so I have to go to local shops to get breakfast for them. I am not happy at all with the level of service.
I am also not convinced with their excuse. If there is a water problem at 8:00 am their place, why haven’t they called me and inform me. Actually by 8:00 am they should have complemented cooking and start transportation. They haven’t informed me about water problem until I called to enquire about the delay. ...read more
Good quality Indian food that tastes of real spices - not sauces out of jars. Friendly service, and really good breads.
The Chinese-Indian menu is also a novel but tasty alternative.
Completely disagree with ashakes's review - I have been there many times and always enjoyed myself.
Could do with more spice though (not less)!
Its a pity that Blue-Moon has such awful taste buds; Being an Indian myself, for sure I know how a good Indian food should taste ; I would strongly disagree with Blue- Moon!! Annapoorna Restaurant is a place where people with poor taste-buds would visit; if thats' what Blue-Moon is made of, then rest of you with good taste-buds, take my word, you have better places to visit to taste Indian and Bombay-Chinese food!!!Blue-Moon, if you really want to taste some good Indian food, I can make a much better Indian food than Annapoorna Restaurant and I am proud to call myself an "EXCELLENT COOK". Hope the rest of you who had plans to visit Annapoorna Restaurant in the near future take this as a caution rather than spoiling your lovely dinner-time with some hopeless food and awful service. If you still insist to go there like our Blue-Moon, make sure you go there with your own cutlery from your home and be mentally prepared for some worst things to happen!
Excellent restaurant for Indian Chinese and Indian food. Service is good and so are the quality of dishes. We tried the Chinese menu and I should say it was totally different to the normal Chinese restaurant. Give Indian Chinese cuisine a chance. Please ask them to make the chili dishes a bit milder.
