Anne Devlin has a first class honours degree in Psychological Science from the University of Westminster, London, a Masters in Neuroscience from the Institute of Psychiatry, London, and a Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of New South Wales.
Anne Devlin is a clinical psychologist, neuroscientist and clinical researcher. Anne has specialist skills in cognitive behaviour therapy and advanced training in relationship counselling. Anne has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults and specialist skills in assessing and treating depression, social anxiety; generalised anxiety disorder; addictive behaviour; obsessive compulsive disorder; relationship problems; stress; worry; anxiety and anger.
Although Anne works psychologically with clients, she believes that fundamental to the practice of psychology is the need to develop theories and strategies that are guided by biological principles. Her clinical practice reflects this philosophy and drawing on her postgraduate training in neuroscience, she utilises therapeutic strategies that make psychological and physiological sense. She is committed to providing effective and accessible community based psychological services that are both life-changing and life-enhancing.
Anne has published in the area of psychophysiology and psychiatry; clinical research she collaborated on has been presented at national and international conferences.
