Antonio seemed lovely, and very knowledgeable and I had no doubt that he would have done a great job, but his quote of $650 to alter a suit, tailor the jacket to the waste,fit 4 sleeve buttons, then hemm the pants, was ludicrous. The going average for a Sydney tailor is $200 to $300 for this work and I guess his quote was more him not wanting the job, rather than one of "just trying it on" to see if I was naieve enough to accept it. Either way I just couldn't trust him after this.
