ANU Film Group
The Film Group is the largest film society in Australia. It is a not for profit organisation with all of our membership fees going back into the group to provide a fun way to watch a wide range of movies.
The venue is set up with a full sized 8.5m wide screen and Dolby Surround Sound. All movies are screened from film (like a commercial cinema) to an audience of up to 377 people.
Screenings include films from a range of years from new release, to cult and classics. All screenings start at 8pm on the scheduled night, with Friday and Saturday night double features and some Sunday afternoon matinees.
Membership is open to anyone and can be bought on the night of any screening for the cost of $60 per calendar year, $35 per half calendar year and $15 per week.
