In the past twelve months I have had several disappointing experiences at the Fountain Gate ANZ branch. I have gone into the branch for a single task and am always asked a whole bunch of irrelevant and time consuming questions. These repetitive questions relating to superannuation, insurance and credit cards make me feel like I am trying to be sold something which does not make me feel safe and certainly makes me question the integrity of the bank. My first experience of this unprofessional service was exemplified by the banker also looking at his phone during service and taking an incredibly long time to serve me. This made me seriously consider choosing another bank however I have kept returning hoping this would be a one off. I am sad to say that this experience has reoccurred several times and while I intend to keep my banking with ANZ for the moment, I will avoid the fountain gate branch for as long as I can. ...read more
