We were looking for Melbourne short stay apartments that weren't the usual beige and bland photocopies of each other. So many self contained apartments these days are just as boring as hotel rooms only a smidge bigger. It was my daughter's wedding so we wanted to stay somewhere nice, with a bit of character and style. I did a search on google and didn't find much, but we somehow got onto this site and found just what we'd wanted - central, heaps of space, light and a really individual feel. It pays to be persistent. Would definitely recommend this CBD apartment for great central and unique accommodation.
I'd read all the good reviews on this Melbourne apartment, but was still thinking there might be a catch - you never know whether to trust website pics either - everything looks good in the right light! We had a short stay of one week and were actually really impressed, which is saying a lot as my husband and I are tough critics. The location was terrific - as promised on their website it really was central and within easy walking distance of everything we needed. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the place just has a great sense of style and soul. There was a fancy coffee grinder, a great selection of books and magazines and a gorgeous daybed I could barely get up from. A thoroughly professional outfit and they have some terrific tips on places to eat and drink on their website which all proved spot on and an excellent asset.
Such a surprise to find this place with oodles of style. It's really big - only one bedroom - which isn't enormous, but the living areas is really large and light and there's a terrific daybed in a little reading room. My other half spent a lot of time lying on that and looking out the window. Nice to be so close to the action - walking distance to everywhere, most importantly walking distance to decent coffee and fab shopping! I love Melbourne, it's a gorgeous city.
This is a cute place. Bigger than the usual one bedders we've stayed in and certainly groovier than your average hotel. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom and a good little extra study with a 'treed' view . Way quieter than I expected for being in the heart of the city. Shabby entrance to the block, but don't be put off by that.
