One evening as I was taking the scenic route back to Adelaide I decided that it was probably time for me to pull over for the night, and since Apollo Bay is the last major town for quite a while (and since the Great Ocean Road isn't the easiest of roads to drive along) I decided to pull into the first motel I found – this one. The service I received was quite warm, especially since it was 8:00 in the evening (though some motels are open until about 10:00 pm) and despite not having a booking they were more than happy to put me up at a reasonable price (but then again it was the off season). The rooms weren't too bad either, though all I did was pull in, go to the pub, and then come back for a nice sleep. It is certainly a place that I would recommend to others coming down this way.
