Appetite Cafe & Catering

I was on my lunch brake with co-workers and we were craving burgers. I had often walked past with wonder about this place as it had pretty funky decor and a hipster feel, so I suggested it to my friends, to which they obliged. I ordered the Moroccan Lamb Burger and my friends both had the Works Burger with fries. The fries were a bit cold and did not come with aioli as advertised and the Moroccan Lamb Burger was bland and soggy. The guys were mildly happy with their burgers and I'm just happy I won't have to wonder about this place anymore.

Great service, great menu, and reasonable prices. I particularly love their salmon stack! Very filling but full of delicious layers of flavour.

On a trip to check out the hidden treasures of South Sydney i found this cafe which reminded me of Newtown so i was clearly quite excited! 5 stars for ambiance i will say, but the all day breakfast was highly disappointing. No other options as far as bread goes except a horrible sourdough, the poached eggs - well if you know your eggs like i do then you'll be disappointed. But the biggest turn off by far was the sauteed spinach. The lack of butter wasn't the problem. It was the gritty dirt still on the spinach that made it onto my plate aswell. Horrible breakfast.

This friendly cafe is an oasis in the Redfern area.It has the fantastic Campos coffee. The food is great especially breakfast. The place has a fun vibe. Its very Melbourne as far as the ambience and cool vibe.
