A great pool for doing laps, you'll get your own lane, overcrowded for a casual swim.
My family and I have spent many a day there especially over the Xmas 2015/16 summer holidays and despite lodging a friendly notice to them (verbal and written), it seems that the pool is set up to cater for people wanting to swim lengths of the pool (both in door and out), do it youll get your own private lane! If you want a swim with the family go elsewhere.
Also in yesterday's 40+ degree heat, it seems that it is ok to have 3-4 life guards active inside but only one outside... Not sure the reason here?
Otherwise a great facility just the pool area is poorly managed if you want to swim with the family.
Never will use this 'facility' again. Can not believe this new renovation without catering to families amenities. Took my 5yo and 6yo girls to the pool. Asked the pool attendant about toilets and they suggested taking my girls to the male changerooms. No way - obviously this kid has no idea. Had to walk my wet girls back to reception who said we could use the disabled toilet but a staff would have to unlock them so too hard for them and had to go across to basically the other side of the centre just for them to use the toilet! Ridiculous set up- unhelpful staff.
Very poor customer service from staff. On a really hot day today they only had one lane for general public swimming. Was told we couldn't swim in warmer pool with ramp entry as my 12 yo cant accompany myself and 94 year old gran there. Tiles in change-rooms and showers are dangerous.
The facility itself is outstanding, however the memberships are hideously overpriced. The staff too are subpar, to put it kindly. They seem to have difficulty with understanding how to keep a line moving. It could be under 5 minutes until a class is starting for example - with 10+ people lining up - and yet they\'re assisting someone in a long, protracted process of signing up for a membership, or chatting vacantly about the merchandise range. Perhaps they should consider having an "express lane" for group fitness classes, where people can simply scan their cards and receive their passes, while other assists those with other needs. You should put it in the comment / feedback form at the centre, instead of here, coz centre wont read feedback here.
If you put the feedback in the centre, I can guarantee you will get a phone call or reply.
