This used to be my favourite Chinese restaurant, but now the love and passion has gone. We dinned there three weeks ago and again on the weekend and each time the service is getting a bit more relaxed, there are more buckets capturing leaky ceilings and the food is becoming more of a let down and the dishes are being filled out with cheaper ingredients like onions and spring onions which is really disappointing. When you pay $37.00 for a prawn dish you expect a little bit more than 9 prawns and not an overwhelming amount of garlic and onion. The large special friend rice mainly contained rice and a sparse sprinkling of other ingredients including just two prawns in the whole dish. The food is on the expensive side and the food quality does not live up to the price.
The Best! I am a regular at this restaurant and the food is amazing. On the more expensive side, however well worth the money, as the food is fresh and delicious, the service is fast and discrete, and the restaurant beautifully decorated. They offer you complimentary fruit whilst you look through the menu. I can't find anything to fault with this restaurant. Worth travelling to, worth a visit.
We have eaten here 4 times now and each time we have had absolutly nothing to complain about. It is slightly on the pricier side but once you have eaten there you will not complain. The service is impecible, the food is authentic and divine to eat and the atmosphere is classy and freindly.
Last time we went we ordered two entree's an two mains. For Entree we had the deep fried squid and spring rolls and for main we had the Seschwan Beef and the Satay Fish. The entree of squid was the highlight of the meal being almost as big as a main serving and being cooked perfectly.
You are always greeted with a smile and your water is always being topped up - two things that can almont ruin a meal if not met.
We will be back again for sure, even for a lunchtime special and most definitly to try the Peking Duck.
