Just happened to be driving past when i spotted this little gem of a place. Sure, it's a bit dusty, a bit dark, but if you're a comic book geek from way back (as i am) i think that's just the way you want it. I found a 31 issue of Big Numbers (comic book gold if ya don't know) and got it for five bucks. I am one happy nerd. Back issues, oddities, figurines, it ticked all the boxes and even though Gary, the guy behind the counter might look intimidating, turned out to be a hell of a nice guy. Even let me pilfer the left over Free Comic Book Day books. There aren't too many comic book shops here in Sydney, especially independent old school ones so I'm glad to have discovered this one.
Arcadia is a perfect example of true customer service.
The new store is very impressive and I like what they do for independent artists by dedicating a large part of their store as a gallery and hold events to showcase these artists. These are usually held on a Saturday (more info on their facebook page)
I highly recommend this comic book store which offers a fantastic and personalised service that cannot be found at any other comic book store.

Spotted this place driving by, went back later to check it out. Lots of stuff, old & new, heaps of well sorted back issues, friendly service, chased up a really nice Dave Stevens art book I couldn't find anywhere else. I'll definitely be dropping in again!

The store is very very small dark and stock looked old didn't stay long as the tall fella who was working there didnt really want to help me.
Earlier review is very bias in his review as he is a long term customer,must have to be going there a long time to be spoken to nicely.
Reviews are opinions I agree with small,not clean,not much there do i have a agender as well?!
