Argo Cafe
A little bit of Greece in Port Adelaide offers an experience that won't break the bank, and a fit and healthy food memory will recall one place above all in the main drag gastronomic history. A dark-timbered floor underpins many of the tables set in long lines to cater for big groups, probably families though possibly savvy business parties as well. The tables carry numbers in cafe style, and Argo is that, but much more as well. It is essentially a sit-yourself-down kind of place, in the prosaic sense, meaning on the new and shapely padded chairs inside and out under the wide country-town veranda that still typifies Port Adelaide's streets. Contemporary trad Greek music sets the mood, while the menu holds plenty of unadulterated traditional Greek promise.

I have never really had or tried Greek food before. I have been on a bit of a mission to try new things so this was right up my alley.
The place was packed which is always a good sign. The service was a bit slow and they forgot to bring drinks out but the staff were very friendly and they were extremely busy. Perhaps a team member short?
I decided to have a dish I had never had before and ordered the goat dish. First impression was that portion size is very generous and it was very tasty however somewhat oily. Overall we all enjoyed ourselves and the whole experience. A few little areas could be improved but on the whole we had a good experience eating here.
