John is such a great find. I originally got him in to do some handyman tasks which he completely quickly and well. Subsequently, when I had trouble with another contractor that I'd hired to do some backyard decking, John came to the rescue, completing the job properly, affordably and on short notice. John really cares about his work and provides good advice, and I'll definitely be using him again.

John and his son just finished some work for us on our two kids' bedrooms - filling a hole in the wall where a heater had come out, plastering and painting. They also had to match a piece of picture rail and cornicing and rehang a door. They showed great attention to detail - they spent a lot of time finding a very close match and matching the original colour so it's nearly impossible to see the fill. The plastering work is excellent - very happy with the finish and the overall look of the rooms. So are our kids! John and his son were both were courteous, trustworthy and very pleasant. John also fixed a wobbly bookcase to the wall without being asked (or charging!).

John assisted us in the plastering of our bathroom (at incredibly short notice, too). His experience was evident in the quality of his work and in the advice he provided. Polite, punctual and full of energy. It was a pleasure working with John and we will definitely be calling him again.

We have known John for over three years now and we never call anyone else when we need work done around the house. John's attention to detail is fantastic and he always thinks of innovative ways around what sometimes seem like insurmountable difficulties. His patience and understanding around our three young children has also been invaluable. Just brilliant.
