WARNING: BUYER BEWARE - Talk about a business over-promising and under-delivering. We purchased an 8 seater outdoor table 4 years ago. From the outset, Ascot Teak was dismissive of quality issues and acted dishonorably. Structural elements of the table were not made of teak and have since completely rotted away. Referral business is the best business a company can hope for; I would not choose to purchase teak products from Ascot Teak EVER AGAIN and I will not refer them to ANYONE!!!!
Do not buy this product..we made a very substantial purchase and all the pieces have simply rotted or collapsed. When questioned Ascot said "out of warranty"..too bad. They use false pegging, cheap screws that rust and there are clear design faults that cause 'rot'. I have cheap treated pine and hardwood furniture that has easily outlasted this 'teak' (I have my suspicions). The owner made no offer at all to find out why we were unhappy or suggest what he could do to assist. Items look good but its a mirage. i would rate zero if I could.
