Sea burials are becoming increasingly popular and appeal to people for very different reasons. Some people have reasons such as?...wanting to be cradled in the arms of the sea for eternity. Other reasons for choosing a sea burial are somewhat less romantic. People may have links with the sea through fishing, diving, swimming or yachting.Others may yearn for a secluded and unusual resting place, while a few are thrill seekers who want the ultimate final adventure.

There are many reasons to chose the sea as one?s final resting place, it is a respectful way to put some one to rest that is chosen by many families.


The way it works:

When someone is cremated after they have passed scattering their ashes in the sea or harbour is a respectful way to return someone to mother nature.

Funeral parties board one of our yachts at a wharf of their choosing within Sydney Harbour. We then sail to a location of the families choosing.
Once there a service is held either by family members or an appointed figurehead of the families choosing.

The the ashes are then scattered into the ocean at the end of the ceremony.

Afterwards a short cruise is held in a wake like fashion where hours d? oeuvre's and light beverages are served before drop off back at the wharf of origin.
