Ashfield Cafe

Looks like a corner shop / milk bar / hamburger joint. Is actually a DELICIOUS Malaysian cafe with lots of cheap tasty dishes and a loyal following of regulars. Try the rendang or har mee or time it right to get the nasi lemak or chicken rice specials if you're clever. yum yum yum.

Had to come back and have another go of there food. Even better every time i come to eat. Still huge portions and great price. Every week on Saturday there is Nasi LEMAK. Hainan Chicken Rice is now everyday. Yay#reviewtowin

You haven't tried a great deal until you have visited this homely restaurant.
The food is absolutely delicious and infuses the traditional Malaysian food. Not only is the food great but it's also very cheap with nothing over $10. Its a bargain.
They have a large variety of dishes where the proportions are more than what its worth. Coca cola is only $1.
Every alternative week there is eithier nasi lemak or hainan chicken rice.
I advise you go on a weekday if possible for more seats or if coming in a large group. If not possible don't worry there is still Saturday to enjoy.

It is a great cafe with unique,tasty quisines and great staff.It is affordable and very cosy.
