Ashfield Dental Centre

Dr Anita is truly a professional dentist. She's very gentle and will take her time to explain issues and concerns.
I took my 2yo girl last week and we had an excellent and fun dental experience (apparently not an oxymoron).
I'm her regular even though I live in the lower north shore and highly recommend her practice.

Apparently, nobody likes going to the dentist...but this couldnt be further from the truth when dealing with the proprietor, Dr. Anita Akouba (and i'm sure this extends to her clinical team). This family run, local business is the epitome of service delivery...they are avid professionals, who are responsive when dealing with client needs. For instance, i work a long way from home (and the clinic) which meant that i couldnt get to my appointments other than by taking half days to get to the dentist - which was increasingly difficult as i am/ was doing a 'course of orthodontic work.' Whilst most people would let you change your life around much to your major inconvenience (in my case it involved a 2 hour commute), Anita and her team kindly keep/kept their clinic open after - their - hours, so they could see me! I was fortunate to have Anita as a dentist for a time in NZ and was very excited when I heard she had moved to Sydney. Yesterday I trekked across town for an appointment and was once again impressed with her dentistry skills and more importantly, her pain management skills (I hate needles, and pain!). I was comfortable the whole time and her assistant Martin did a great job as well. Didn't hurt a bit.

I had previously been trying to find a dentist I could trust with the cosmetic and orthodontic work I wanted done, so I'm very pleased Anita is here. I cannot recommend her highly enough, she is well worth the 5 star rating.

If you are looking for a dentist in Ashfield (or you are particular enough about having the very best in dental care and are prepared to travel a couple of train stops from Central) your first choice should be Anita at Ashfield Dental in the mall.

Just finished 5 appointments with Dr Anita Kouba at this Dentist clinic, and i must say the service and dentistry were amazing! I did not feel a thing and feel so much better now armed with the knowledge Dr Kouba has given me about how to care for my teeth, definately recommend her to anyone wishing for pleasurable dental experience! woohoo Smile!
