Shopping Centres
Ashfield Mall
Level 3, 260A Liverpool Rd
Ashfield, NSW, 2131
Close to station. Free parking on rooftop. Kmart Priceline Aldi Woolworths and Coles are main stores. Plenty of ATMs on both levels.
Food court and other eateries in the mall all worth checking out.
The library has free Wi-Fi and great family area.
The KMart in this mall is better than Bankstown.
If this were the only shopping centre in Sydney, perhaps I would shop here. But it's not - so I won't. The whole place is old and not really clean, and it's like a maze to try and find your way around - feels like they've just added things wherever they might fit. Perhaps the worst feature is teh carpark - it's tiny and every time I've been there someone blocks around a corner because there's no turning space. Try another shopping centre.
The mall's exterior could do with a little renovating, but the inside is very nice and well presented, lots of lifts that have that robotic voice stating which floor it's
on ( so not so sure what the person below is talking about ).
There are many signs throughout the mall which state where shops, exits, carparks and lifts are located, the carpark can be easily entered, exited and navigated through.
I believe the only thing the mall lacks is outdoor seating, it'd be nice if the coffee shop or similar had an outdoor area, but it has a nice foodcourt, supermarkets, department stores, specialty stores, heaps of free untimed parking and right next to ashfield station, so I give it ten out of ten! ;)
this is an old mall with some pretty paint put on it that doesn't really cover up its 'oldness' very well.
The car park is a maze with these funny little shops hidden inside the walls - never seen that before but it's odd. Getting out you have to have gps to find the exit... And then to work out how to get from the exit to a main road you have to head down this pokey little road.
As for getting in, the lifts don't tell you what floor you're on, so if you're new it's a mystery. There's very few information signs telling you where to find what you want anyway, so you may as well guess. Sure there's good shops inside, but that's nothing unique. Try some other shopping centre.
