I booked and paid for a training course 2-3 months ago. Received all my receipts and course info etc. I also arranged 4 weeks annual leave so that I'd be refreshed and ready for the week long course.
When I called the day before the course was due to verify dates (the Monday was a public holiday) I was told that the course had been cancelled. No warning, no advance notice. No notice at all.
No time left for me to arrange an alternative course venue so I'm out one training course. If I want to do it any time this year, I'll have to take a weeks leave without pay.
To rub salt into the wound, I was told that if I wanted a refund, I'd have to apply in writing.
