I also purchased vouchers for Astound from www.livingsocial.com/Brisbane. I filled in the online form, rang and have heard NOTHING.
A quick Google reveals that vouchers were also sold on OurDeal, DealEstras, 99Deals.com.au, Deals.com, Groupon, CheapCheapdeals.com.au and SmarterDailyDeals!!!!
This company is now closed and despite notices to say these vouchers will be honoured but I HAVE HEARD NOTHING!!
A few weeks ago I read these reviews and reply to the consumers below. Another quick google revealed he IS SELLING VOUCHERS AGAIN!!!!!
I left a message on his FAcebook page weeks ago and STILL NOTHING!!!
My next step is to complain to ASIC and Fair Trading.
I want my vouchers either honoured or reimbursed!
Purchased 2 vouchers for yard cleaning,in April, agreed a date and time which they cancelled then after numerous phone call they stated that they were to busy and did not want my business anyway.They offered to organise a refund which I said I did not want as I had a broken arm and could not do the work.Still waiting, they offered the deal ,I accepted the deal, nothing happened. Most unprofessional firm I have ever dealt with.My advise DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM.
Really? Yard Cleaning? We did not sell a yard cleaning deal.
We did sell gardening deals, and when the company closed you were offered a refund, and explained that as we had NOT been paid for the deals as we needed the voucher your given to redeem them we could not refund you (not to mention the fact the deal company takes their 50% comission out too) so, as I mentioned before you just had to contact the deal company to get a refund..
I too, purchased a 3 hour deal for $79. The team showed up to my house when it had been raining for 3 days straight and had only just stopped raining, they agreed it was too wet to mow. I was at work and they had dealt with my flatmate. I then got an email stating that I would need to pay a $25 call out fee the next time they came to do our lawns. The dealing I have had with the management have been appalling and somewhat abusive, calling me a liar and stating the staff did not say the lawns couldn't be mowed and that it was because they could not get in contact with me for additional fees. Do Not Use This Company!!
I have all your emails tooo and you were proven we did EXACTLY what your partner told us to do.. and nothing more nothing less. We left when we were told.. We even came back a second time and completed an extra hour.
Warning to others, I purchased a voucher on www.deals.com.au for this company for $79 to receive 3 hours of gardening worth $220. They did a very poor job of mowing, which would have taken a maximum of 15 minutes and decided that was 3 hours worth of work. When I emailed the management about how unsatisfied I was all I received back was a bunch of excuses. Very poor customer service.
Yes Warning Warning Warning also don't purchase any of their window cleaning service I can't comment on the quality of their work as I have booked with them 5 times and they have never turned up They change the time 4 times and then ring up after they dont turn up with some excuse.They are the most rudest unprofessional company I have ever dealt with stay clear from this company
I will be happy to create a link with all of our emails and your photos.. As well as ours, with evidence not only did we mow.. We hedged your gardens, we weeded your gardens, we edged your properly.. and you were disappointed because we had a 3 hour with 1 gardener deal, and when you saw 3 gardeners arrive and they explained they would be there for an hour to total this 3 hours, you were not happy at all.. Infact you went on with your rant, showing a picture of you holding two strands of grass up *wow* and half a handful of lawn clippings that you managed to scrape up from the entire property. There is a reason ourdeal didn't refund you, because even they could tell from YOUR pictures that there was no way all that work was completed in 15 minutes. Good luck feeding the general public your garbage..
