Astray Studio is an artist run initiative with both active workspaces and gallery open to the public. Being located just off Liverpool St on the fringe of Hobart's CBD, Astray provides an alternative approach to viewing art & a relaxed opportunity to have a look behind the scenes of contemporary art practice in Hobart.

Astray Studio features the work of its two resident artists - Gina Haywood & Drew Murphy. The result is an eclectic mix of sculpture, painting & works on paper. Frequently changing displays & special group exhibitions also present the work of a number of other Tasmanian artists who share the studio's organic aesthetic & use of endemic materials.

Astray Studio is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11am -4pm or by appointment.
