Nurseries & Gardening Retailers
@ Lifestyle Garden centre
I live locally, and was given a gift voucher for my birthday, so l decided on my day off today, l would have a lovely morning, going to the cafe for a coffee and then spend my voucher in the nursery.
It started well with a beautiful coffee and a scone.
I then proceeded to the nursery to spend my birthday voucher, l was wandering through looking at the beautiful roses on display, to then be told quite abruptly by the staff member, they arent for sale, they are customer orders! Why are they on display if they arent for sale?? This is the 2nd time l have been to this nursery and been looking and been told, thats not for sale?! Is anything for sale here? All orders and plants that are being grown that are not for sale - should have clearly marked on them - not for sale and should not be in the middle of the nursery. I left - not spending my voucher feeling pretty annoyed. Not what my friend who gave me the voucher would want either.
We were told about this place by a friend. The day we went was Rose day, where the new seasons roses were in store. We felt it was quite strange that the roses were dispersed throughout the whole plant centre. There were clumps of assorted roses everywhere. It was very hard to find anything. I guess this was their way of making customers look at everything. Just a little frustrating.
However, the gift shop was great. So many lovely gift and household items.
Staff were very friendly and the whole place was very busy.
There were so many nooks that people can explore. They have lovely comfy chairs overlooking the lake.
