Great location, shame about the food. Very mediocre and quite pricey. They could do so much with this venue and the decor needs updating. However, I've been a few times for social events and it's always been a pleasant venue. I just think sometimes restaurants with good locations let themselves down in other areas when really they should aim to be 5 star on all fronts.
The Heads is a lovely place for dinner or breakfast, set on the end of a pier overlooking Barwon Heads. The food is always tasty and at a reasonable price. Lots of room in the restaurant and is good for families. The whole area around this restaurant is very scenic so you is also a great place to walk off you meal once you are finished.
