Caution here folks!!!! I returned a faulty product and was turned away twice despite having both the product and the receipt of sale (which was conveniently not itemized!). I was forced to lodge a complaint application through fair trading, QLD.

We do not recognise the name, nor would we turn someone away that had proof of purchase within the warranty period.

Hi AJCorby, Im sorry you were dissapointed by our customer service and had to go to office of fair trading but i do believe we offer really good customer service and we offered you a replacement skimmer basket or in store credit to the value of cost of the basket. I explained that the basket was swollen at the sides and had remenents of debris all the way to the top and unfortunately if this happens they do split and the supplier will not allow us to warranty them as they should be emptied regularily. Again im sorry you were not happy with what we offered and wish you and your family a very happy xmas and New Year
Just a follow up with regards to this issue, it's been well and truely over a year since the issue and the new genuine part 'sourced elsewhere' has stood up as expected with no signs of fault, quite a contrast to the 1 week I got from the Atlantic Pool Services product. The quality of the parts from Atlantic Pool Services has to be rightfully questioned, far from genuine!
