try a chupa they are fabulously indulgent and the coffee is some of the best I've tasted in Adelaide! For another indulgence try the hot chocolate so smooth and creamy! The food selections aren't huge but it is a patisserie and what they do offer is definitely worth trying and done well!
I'm going to give this place another try, and hopefully when I do, they will have better service and be able to cater for hightea.. Also I hope when I call them they will pick up their phone. Numerous times i had tried to call but no answer. When I decided to pop in their one morning hoping to have High Tea, I was told that they did not to High Tea on Sundays, and also that it needed to be ordered in advance... which i replied how can i order if you never answer your phone, and how do we know that (as well as the kitchen being closed on a sunday) if its not mentioned on any of there sites/fb/advertising.
I can understand if a place is understaffed, service isnt as fast... so i wont say anything abt that.. this time.
I do intend to come back and give it another go because, i do like dessert bars and patisseries, and really like trying different places that do High Tea... so i guess i'll just have to make another review when that time comes.
After reading the reviews I made the trek to Hutt Street to try the place. It's a small space but a very cool space - the upstairs rooms are very cosy. The coffee was good and I liked the breakfast combos that include coffee. I went for the omelette combo and whilst simple, it was extremely well executed - light and fluffy. It came with a croissant, a perfectly dressed rocket salad and chestnut puree. I drooled over the cake selection on the way out but resisted...this time.
