Aunt Billies Cafe

Went there for brekkie and it was nice, light and bright.
The coffee was faaaaantastic (I believe it was Melba? With Sugar Skulls as the logo).

I went for the classic eggs benedict, but there wasn't enough sauce and it was served with ham steaks which I'm not really a fan of.

The service was good but it was very dead when we went.

Lovely dcor of light wood and bright cheery yellow accents. Thumbs up for a high chair for little ones and the nice and friendly service. The all day menu is very interesting with not your run of the mill type of fare. You'll see ingredients such as pomegranite, labna, quinoa, freekah, etc. There's something to please anyone but the hard part is deciding what to have. I thoroughly enjoyed my pancakes with baked rhubarb, lemon curd, pistachio crumb, maple drizzle and a dollop of real cream. The serving was very generous and decadent, not just the pancakes themselves but all the other bits too and I couldn't even eat it all (and I was starving at the time!). They did forget a coffee that was ordered later on but they were very apologetic about it. We grabbed a caramel slice to go and that was a little disappointing but overall I will definitely go back and thought the price was good value for what you get.
